Registration includes: access to all conference related activities over the days, welcome reception, breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks during the conference, and the conference dinner which will be hosted in our Disney Dining Room.

Your badge is your “ticket” into all conference activities (sessions, exhibitions, meals and receptions). Badges must be worn at all times and are not transferable at any time.

Exit 2 (Orangewood/Universal Blvd.)
Quarter of a mile on the right

From Orlando International Airport
Head North on S Access Rd/Jeff Fuqua Blvd
Use the 2nd from the right lane to continue on S. Semoran Blvd (veer left)
Take 528 W
Take Exit 2 for Orangewood Blvd toward Universal Blvd (make a right)

There are a limited number of discounted rooms reserved for conference attendees ($135.00 + tax per room/per night).

You can also call Rosen Shingle Creek at 1-866-996-6338. You must mention EMC Conference to receive the discounted rate.

Additional rooms will be added on an as needed basis. If you receive a notification of “no room available”, please contact inquiries@cognizantcommunication.com so we may ensure room availability and discounted rate.

There are a range of low and medium cost hotels available on sites such as booking.com, Expedia, etc.

From June 17th – 20th, Rosen College of Hospitality will host the Event Management Conference and create a welcoming forum in which to identify economic and societal challenges that affect event-related operations and goals. The program will include roundtable discussions, stimulating debates, traditional and informal academic talks, compelling keynote speaker presentations, fireside chats, social activities and more!

We suggest business/smart casual attire as appropriate for the conference, but be mindful June is the beginning of the HOT weather in Florida. We recommend you dress as you feel comfortable and remember a jacket or something similar for the air-conditioned indoors.

The conference dinner is smart/casual/comfortable.
